Pak bans onion exports to India; prices go up by Rs 10 a kg - Yahoo! News

Great so Pakistan yet again takes on India.. a new type of war.

And on the other hand, government has indirectly started to tell that it CAN NOT control inflation.
Food inflation soars, govt admits to lack of tools to control prices

What it cant control?? Close the commodity exchange for a year and see. But well they wont do that.

What amazes me that, right now inflation is 18.. tomorrow if it comes down to 15... Government will sing songs about it..... and people will be happy about inflation going down by 3% forgetting that it still means that prices will keep rising... just that for item worth Rs. 100 today instead of paying 118Rs the next year... they will be paying 115... so eventually...prices wud still rise sky high but common people will not realize that.
