So Tom Hardy is in MCU i.e. in No Way Home - saying that there are superheroes/avengers here etc - so he has "entered" MCU & leaves behind a part of symbiote and is "gone" out of MCU (atleast thats what I took from that scene)

Now in Venom 3 at 1.25 trailer its the same waiter & the army guy sort of captures symbiote - so where is this happening? MCU? Back to Sonyverse or whatever it is called?

And at 1.45 it looks like army guy is chasing Eddie - so if its not MCU it would explain Mordo & army guy being separate but wont explain how symbiote left behind in MCU is here. If it is MCU, then Mordo & army guy exist together in MCU and what is the the chinese lady doing there.

Look from a business sense. Tom Hardy is not entering the MCU officially unless Bob Eiger or Kevin Feige thinks so. The post-credit scenes mean nothing. Marvel can't make a Venom movie and to use the Venom character, they will have to license the character which is a mess they probably don't want now because of distribution issues. However, Sony may be more forthcoming to compromise given their recent losses in establishing a spider villain society without a Spiderman. lol They wanted Tom Holland to appear but Disney probably refused.

The whole leaving a part of the symbiote means they will find a different actor to play Venom. Though that would be disastrous. lol And forget the rest of the actors in Venom movies. Their appearance in the MCU doesn't change anything even after they play a different character here.

Fun fact: The same actors have played different characters in the MCU in the past. lol
 
I get the business aspect. My point is why even confuse people. I mean there was a time when end credits had a point and meaning.
 
Yep. Post endgame everything has become hot garbage. Earlier, the post-credit scenes used to get resolved within the very next movie. Nowadays, post-credit scenes are added for shock value and to retain the audience. Make a substandard movie and use a post-credit scene to keep their interest. The overall writing and directing team across these movies seem to have no coordination. So this will keep happening.
