VI network went down for 25 mins

network went down and data stopped then worked hope they fixed it( Hyderabad) anybody else faced outage?

Although downdetector doesn't show any spikes it may well be an isolated issue or probably users haven't noticed it. Did it fallback to 2g or network totally disappeared? Have you tried checking other Vi sims on other devices? Here in Jaipur, Rajasthan nothing happened. Was outside with my friend and we both were using Vi 5G yet didn't face any issue.

total networkgone and data stopped while making a payment and calls were very distorted and crackling after that, maybe a localized issue raised a ticket on vi app.

Yes, it very well could be. Didn't see a lot of movement on X or down detector. Hopefully won't happen again.

right now i am getting 30 mbps download and 10mbps upload on 4g seems they fixed something signal level -98 db. used cell data analyzer tool

Hey apparently they have this 30mbps cap sometimes

On both 5G and 4G

So this is what the self optimising network vi was talking about lmao

30 mbps is more than enough for upi, yotube and whatsapp will run perfectly smoothly even google maps on mobile. sometimes i really feel are all the 220 mbps to 500 mbps speed on 5g worth it is there a use for that speeds?

Till Since 2021 till 2023 there was a cap of 40 Mbps here for prepaid users which got lifted last year.
