Vi store employee keeps asking for Vi app login OTP after PORT IN was completed. Is this OTP Fraud?

Last week i had made this post

Update on this
So last night at 11:30PM his Vi/Karnataka sim had completed the porting process and was out of network ,then i replaced the sim with the Vi/Mumbai sim and everything was normal ,5G was working ,sms was working.

But,this morning he gets whatsapp notification from the Vi store employee who supposedly helped him at the store. The employee kept asking to give him Vi app login OTP which felt very strange

and when asked why do you want the OTP and why are you logging into my account ,there was no reply over it.

More so it feels very sus.

btw i didnt share the otp soo how would they be using my account
 
why are they asking OTP , directly deny them as OTP sharing is nowhere allowed .
You can tell them that my bank account is linked with sim so i cant share OTP
 
Ignore such requests and move on. Else, you may regret your decision for a long time to come. We don't know what's possible by taking over an account via app. Probably, approval can be given via app to migrate to postpaid or something similar.
 
yeah it just is very sus to me ,but the connection is already on postpaid i dont get it why she wants access into vi app
