jio when launched used to have video calling minutes mentioned with their plans. not sure if it they still do.

do airtel and vodafone support vilte if devices have native support for them?

this is why internet data is not deducted from your plan for voice or video call.

Not surprising.

@webie .......... is normal voice calling over Jio working or it is also suspended. If it is suspended than it is surprising that they are allowing video calling and suspending voice calling.

Normal calls working. Jammu is usually peaceful, we always get screwed by Kashmiri's (Muslims from Sirnagar - No offense to anyone here). There are just just one or couple of areas here where there is muslims people so the whole jammu get's screwed in case of any riots or stuff. I am sure people from Kashmir are also very peaceful and nice, I was with 4-5 guys from kashmir in Hostel (apart from they not liking Indian cricket team, always very nice people), but the problem is these leaders, Abdullah's , Mufti, and their partners. As Govt took major step, their shops's will get closed of corruption, biased rule and shit that they used to mess with J&K and people from kashmir are very trusting in nature specially to people from their own religion and when these leaders go to them, they try to provoke them for strikes and whatnot creating a havok and these innocent people fall for it just because a person from the same religion is telling them in the name of Islam/Jihad (not sure how to really name). These leaders should be gunned down, they have really screwed with J&K from last 70 yrs and atleast 28yrs of my lifetime lol. It's true, development is zero here. From last 28yrs I always dreamt that we will get crikcet stadium here where indian team will come and play but nope, never happened until 2 yrs back and that project will still take 5 months more and frankly when i saw it, 90% of the ground is finished (as per worker) and it really is way too small looking for a cricket ground.

Nip these asshats of leaders and we are good. We have nothing against people from kashmir, and I am sure they will understand that too once these leaders get out of the way.

@ijsa they didn't block it i guess because I am sure 99.99 peeps out there didn't knew about it. I have been into IT field , financial field from past 9 years and I consider myself pretty alright chap when it comes to technology but if I got surprised, 99% people out there probably has no idea lol. Now if people don't know about it, they don't use it. So it hardly makes a difference anyways, prolly slipped out of Jio's management to look after this to get blocked. I am not even sure if it works outside Jammu, as I never tested it, but it surely works in Jammu (Hard to believe as we are Tier 2/3 city.)

Jio app works between different carriers? Is it available on Airtel and Vodafone?

I mean you can call different carriers but the app doesn't work b/w different carriers as that app needs registration and I am fairly certain it requires Jio SIM.

Yeah...... even I also realised few months back, when I ported one of my sim to Jio........ I tried Video calling with Jio4GVoice(from Non-VoLTE 4G handset to Redmi Note 5 Pro) and was surprised that it was better than Whatsapp & Google Duo video calling....... but this feature works on calls between Jio network only.
