Vodafone Prepaid 3G rates slashed in Mumbai?
just saw the msg on when u dial *225*3# shows 2p/10KB
so 2 rupees for 1 mb?
I Cant Get It What They Are Doing...Slashing Price But Not Allowing Customers To Activate 3G Pay Per Go Plan !!

Yeah it is strange they don't offer you the pay as you go plan outright. That option should be there for customers who want it. I guess one way around it is to activate there cheapest 3G plan - Rs 100 for 100MB. Once you've exhausted the 100MB limit you will automatically be charged the pay as you go rate for any additional usage. But you'll have to do that every month as the validity is only for 30 days.

Nop I Confirmed.. They Will Again Convert You To 2G After That Pack Validity Ends i.e 30days... That Means We Have To Rc 100 minimum every mnth to use pay per go plan or to use video call and other services

at least in mumbai they r not converting you back on 3g. they keep 3g and 2g on. you have to choose dual mode or UTMS or GSM on your phone if you recharge 2g OR 3g gprs plans.they take purposly 60 hours to activate and deduct money from main account @ 3g rates.lost more than 100 ruppes

Yes , I Think Vodafone Is Very Weak In 3G Management In Terms Of Other Companies.. Or Maybe They Don't Have Enough 3G Instrument To Provide 3G For All...

I specifically asked them about this and they said that you will be charged 10p/10KB post the data limit until the expiration of you validity. That is also what they advertise on their website that any addition usage will be charged at 10p/10KB. I really wonder who comes up with all these ridiculous plans at Vodafone. They definitely deserve an award for stupidity.
I think BSNL is way better in this regard. The validity of my data pack on my BSNL 3G SIM expired last week, but I can still use 3G data at the pay as you go rate as long as my SIM is still active.
