Vodafone 3G test results..

I don't know about official launch. But haven't seen 3G Signal (trial) when searching network in UMTS mode. I search network at least 3/4 times a day (for some research here in IBF). I am currently getting BSNL, RELIANCE, AIRCEL here in UMTS.

The service is getting launched commercially in end of the march or first week of April depend on there trail success which is going on and here is th result for the speed test but man time im getting 9.2 mbps using my n8

Not very good at all! Faster than my 512kbit BSNL (which I am upgrading to 4mbit) home ADSL broadband, but other people are getting atleast 4mbit :/ What is the difference between "Mobile Internet" and "Mobile Broadband"? Is the second one faster, and the first one's speed lower? How much should I be getting on Mobile Internet? These tests were via my phone tethered via Bluetooth, maybe that was the problem. It is a 21mbit capable phone though (5230).

The speed was a fluke. It'll come down again after a while.
