10,000 5G Sites will be deployed in FY25 means before 2025 April & 12,000 more sites will be deployed by 2026 April. Which will cover around 40% of revenue base in the beginning (prioritising high traffic sites first).

Deployment will begin after receiving funds and giving purchase orders.

Super excited for everything that's coming 🤩.

By that time Airtel and Jio would have captured all prospective 5G customers. Vi would have to come up with great pricing (which is not possible) or quality service to attract back some customers.

Not really... Even today when we look at 5G use case and ecosystem of devices it's way too low (I know we don't feel it because we might be living above a certain income class) but it will take a lot of years for wide scale 5G adoption.

Just like we don't understand how there are still hundreds of millions of 2g customers.
Also nearly 90 million BSNL customers who still use 2G/3G 😂

Forget all this but once "5G Unlimited" data will be gone... No one will care about 5G or 4G unless the person is techie like us or paying premium for unlimited data or something like that.

80%+ of users won't care they are getting 4G or 5G until their data is working fine.

Replying to your post above I think it's right as decreasing price won't be effective but definately Vi will provide way better network experience due to less traffic (50-70% less than congested Jio/Airtel). Just like it is right now when I do 4G only tests between all 4 operators. Vi is surely benifiting from around 50% less users + traffic on their network compared to Jio & Airtel.

I'd prefer 5G because that is the only thing actually works stably when I'm moving/vehicle/train, etc., but I think your 80% metric is very true, since there is yet to be a proper use case..

“The advantage we have is that while we are late into 5G, it has been a bit of a blessing in disguise because we did not get caught up in that situation where the rollout happened too quickly but the monetisation is not happening,”
Super smart.

It's time for Vi to shine and bounce back to it's former original glory 😎. Super excited for using Vi 5G now.
