Isn't it ironic that people start brimming with ideas after retirement. Ahh such wisdom!!!!!

My comment is a reflection on him rather than the suggestion because he was till recently a senior babu in the finance ministry. He did nothing then. He could have made this suggestion then. Suddenly after getting shunted out & then quitting, he brims with wisdom on a daily basis. Also not sure of 'shareholders as I am not privy to who is holding the Birla part in VodafoneIdea. Public listed companies or Pvt trusts. Also how much is held by Indian FI's who will already be there representing their interests.
