Update : Jio/Airtel/Vi were awarded license to operate in Mumbai’s underground metro for the next 15 years

Soon there will be a IBS solution deployed for all 3

And hopefully this finally ends the almost 2 year long wait to get network coverage

I wonder how would the installation look like ,since there is already IBS solution in the whole length of the line

In a significant move aimed at improving commuter convenience and digital access, MMRC has jointly awarded the Letter of Acceptance, LoA, to Bharti Airtel Limited, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited and Vodafone Idea Limited for the deployment, operation and maintenance of telecom infrastructure along Mumbai Metro Line 3.

So i guess we should be getting 5G now as compared to 4G only so far

Vi 5G is here (havent felt a difference but just higher battery drain)

Jio has finally setup there network as well
