That is strange, don't you think? Why not offer this feature to postpaid customers when all of your 3G packages have data limits even for postpaid? Shouldn't post paid customers also have the right to monitor their data usage in realtime?

What I do not understand is why postpaid customers are taken for a ride by service providers? Postpaid customers are the ones that have committed to stick with your brand that is why they have a post paid connection. But they don't get any benefits for doing so. It is something to think about.

in iPhone although we can keep a track of data used under "usage" .. but tht need to reset every month... but I agree there should be some option for us postpaid users too..

You can check your data usage through many app available at Apple store like DATAMAN(free).

I know I can check my data usage through various apps or on my iPhone itself through the cellular data counter. But that is not the point here. I want to know, at any given point in time, my data usage per Vodafone. The apps or the counter on my iPhone will give me exact data usage. But service providers round off your data usage each time you access data through their network. So the numbers don't always match. On the other hand, if the service provider can provide the option to check data usage for their prepaid customers, why don't their postpaid customers have the same facility?

Whats stupid is that better plans and more features are available for PREPAID users and not the POSTPAID users?

I m from Delhi and .
My phone is locked (don't know to which carrier) but I got it unlocked using gevey sim.

Please help me with the steps to activate Safari and other applications ....

I have send message to 144 ACT iPhone.

Step1: Activate iPhone services on your connection (you've already done this).
Step2: Activate a data plan on your connection (if you don't already have one). You can opt for the VMC 2G plans or one of the 3G plans, whichever suits your needs.

Once both are active on your Vodafone connection you will be able to use all your apps and Safari.

thnks alot quick response ...

I am using Prepaid sim and cc is saying no need to activate data plan on prepaid user just sync itunes from your system..

this will help or not ???
