LOL. actually i wud suggest making internet cheaper. 10p/10kb is too costly.i.e. 10Rs per MB is too much.

ask them if they are interested in setting up broadband in india. :D

Yeah but is our international roaming the cheapest?

I always thought that Intn'l Roaming charges are dependent on the roaming partner............Coz They have to make a bare minimum profit after paying the Intn'l Operators airtime charges.
Obviously the more the Intn'l partner demands,the More we end up paying VF;
I think they will wanna provide us the lowest prices so more and more people take their connections

Will VF give www.matrix.in Cards a run for their money now that they can get VF as the preferred Roaming partner in all the Intn'l markets that they operate in?????????????

can they remove "In" from the operator logo? it really looks dumb.

Review about Vodafone "Customer Conference":

Scene 1: I get call from the Shruti saying Group Discussion (yes no more conference) would be at 7pm and i would be picked up at 6.30pm. At 6.45pm I get a call from Deepak saying "Sir, I am waiting near ur bldg".

Scene 2: I go down meet a just returned from college guy (he looked like one) with a college bag on shoulder and says hello sir, I am deepak. I proceed with him and he says, sir lets take an Auto-Rickshaw............:O. I am like what??? He says again, Rickshaw..................

Scene 3: We are in Rickshaw, I ask him so are u from Vodafone, he says no I am not from Vodafone but from a event/survery management company.............I say but I was told that Vodafone is holding this conference, he says, Yes Sir, but we are conducting this Group Discussion for Vodafone....................I just say to my self, another Out Sourcing bug.........:wall:

Scene 4: We reach Hotel Orchid at around 7.40pm, we were the last to reach the Hotel. So, so called Conference/GD starts at 7.45pm.

Scene 5: (Hope u are not asleep with the boring story.......):

We are taken to a Conference Room where there is a video camera and two voice recorders placed on the table. A female enters, takes the Hosts seat, introduces herself.........She says Vodafone has asked us to conduct this GD with its customers. The video and audio recording would be handed over to Top officials of Vodafone (she was not ready to disclose profile/name of this so called Top Officials).

Scene 6: She asks all the 14 people to tell their plan and their personal grievances. everybody speaks to their heart content, nobody is happy with hutch/vodafone and all are old customers atleast 4 years old, on Hutch. After Personal grievances she asks for common issues and suggestions to improve. Everybody gives their mind.

Scene 7: At around 10.15, she says Thank you all for ur time............and we all proceed for dinner.

Scene 8: Dinner is ok ok, Desserts as usual are great! We are then given a Thank You gift, which I just saw is Lomani Pour Homme (Eau De Toilette).

Scene 9: Disappointed we all return home..............

I would say Vodafone tried something different but execution was pathetic. I doubt whether seeing the videos they would do something to improve their service. I have spoken very negative about Hutch and so did everyone else............... At the end of all scenes, I would say: Till yesterday I only wanted to be part of the conference and was least interested in the Dinner but today i would say, to hell with the Conference, Dinner was nice!!!! :)

LOL. i am sure that company wud mint lot of money from vodafone. otherwise nothing wud happen for customers from this conference.

Considering the fact that buffet dinner at Orchid is around 900 + taxes/person, and so called pick up n drop would cost around 200/person, Vodafone did spend some bucks to try and get feedback but the execution was very very poor. They would watch the video of customer feedback, it may or may not be edited before its shown to "Top Officials", so it does not fulfill the real point. If they were really interested in feedback they should had a Vodafone Representative present at the Venue....................

for a company like vodafone, it remains small change. maybe it was part of some ISO/CMM rating that they needed customer feedback like that. in the end it's not going to change anything much.

I know in the end it will not change anything.........just a so called "Feedback Conference" or maybe Vodafone wanted to show that they "Care".............
