No this saving does not refer to saving on phone. Its saved on their servers. Thats why limit of 5 msgs.

You are right . At the bottom this explains it all. I missed it

Note:

[*]Voice SMS is available to all Vodafone Postpaid and Prepaid customers in Mumbai, Delhi & NCR, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, Gujarat, Maharashtra & Goa (except Mumbai), Tamil Nadu, Kolkata, Kerala, Punjab, West Bengal, UP(W), Rajasthan, Haryana, and UP (E)
[*]The capacity of your Voice SMS inbox is 20 messages
[*]After you receive your 21st message, the oldest message will be deleted to make place for the 21st message
[*]Every time you retrieve a new message by dialing *0* and listen to it, the message gets categorised as an 'old' message and sits in your inbox
[*]A maximum of 5 messages can be saved at any point of time
[/list]

I heard I need to activate GPRS in my phone to use this service..? Kindly Clarify !

no GPRS is not required. even simple phone model will work.

lets say u have 20 msgs in Inbox, and u receive 21st msg then ur 1st (oldest) msg gets deleted. now what if ur oldest msg is important to you? in that case u can save that old msg.

imagine this way, INBOX capable of 20 msgs and SAVED ITEMS capable of 5msgs.

SAVED ITEMS are never deleted
INBOX keeps deleting older msgs as new msgs arrive.
oh yeah, never thought about it. thanks.
