vodafone to airtel mnp problem

Respected sir,i am Pratik from Jamshedpur.I want to move from vodafone to airtel.i applied for porting service on 30/07/2011 but still my airtel new sim is not activated by airtel.and today is 6th what is happening may i know ?????i have called both side customer care airtel is saying vodafone is not allowing to port out but vodafone is telling that you are free to move we have no issue with you.i was already a airtel customer since 3yrs just i move to vodafone and thought they have better service but they are not satisfied upto my expectations.now when i was trying to go airtel back someone is not allowing me to go either vodafone is not allowing or airtel is not allowing me to enter there service.i need any good suggestion who can help me getting back to airteli will be thankful to you for this kind favour.
