Volume: Tata Sky STB Remote or Tv Remote ?

We always have problems with the volume. Volume is high in some channels ...and in some channels its low.We always need to use both the remotes...because Tata Sky stb remote is not that effective. If we use tv remote for volume...again we need to use tata sky remote for changing channels...its really big pain. People may avoid it..but its pain.How do you solve this problem...any suggestions.Thanks.

I think the problem is in your STB only.:huh: In my family all are using only TS remote for Increasing and decreasing the volume. We dont face any prob. We nerver use our TV remote, except to change the TV to AV mode.

Well, yes I've experienced similar probs. Pogo channel volume is too high, while Animal Planet is to looow

Well, these issues never came up watching cable as most tv's had auto volume leveler so when u change channels it will automatically adjust to ensure u get same volume for all channels

Always set the volume on your STB to 100%. Do not decrease the signal level in STB. You can use it to mute the channel if you have telephone call etc. with the mute button.Adjust volume in your TV or Audio receiver to your liking.

How do we maintain the signal level ?

Some televisions have this feature, automatic volume leveler.I am myself not sure whether my TV has that feature enabled, for some reason volume does not fluctuate much. If I have to change I change with TV remote.It could also be that the channels I mostly watch (403-407, 551-601, 341-351) have similar~ish volume. I don't watch serial or other content heh.

I have not encountered any such audio problems as i am getting equalised audio out put from TS.............:thumb:
