Volvo fined 200,000 euros over fatal French car crash

hmm...in India nothing would happen to the manufacturer... :confused:
 
but the supreme court yesterday judged that airport authority of india would have to pay around rs. 35 lakhs for the accident that took place in 1999 at delhi airport. now that's something. :D
 
from the newspaper reports i read, the fine was around 18 lakhs which escalated to 38 lakhs due to interest.
