Vu 55K160GAU 140 cm (55) LED TV - Shall I go for it?

Hi, Our new house living room size goes to 20 feet. So, planning to replace the current 21” CRT with 50-55” LED.

My requirements are:
Bigger screen
Full HD – yes, 1920 x 1080
Display - Not expecting tech-savvy level clarity/pixels/resolution etc.
Connectivity - I could see everybody provides all basic needs
Smart TV – No need.
Price – Not above 50K

With this, I am zeroing down this model:
Buy Vu 55K160GAU 140 cm (55) LED TV Online at best Prices In India

Let me know if I am taking the right decision.
Is it acceptable spending 50K for a Vu product?
Any advice from users of Vu products would be helpful.
Please let me know if anything else needs to be considered.

Do I need extended warranty? I heard it is about 10-15% of the product cost (2 years).

Please advise…

Thanks! Exchange offer is still available but I would like to keep my old TV which is in good condition. I am considering the extended warranty as well which everybody recommends.
But there is only one listed in 55" category now. The other 55" listed is 4K+Smart model which is ~ 100K

Great!!! About to ask the link from @admin then noticed this item is not available in my location (middle of Bangalore). It was there until noon today. Don't know it will reappear again.

After I bought Vu TV it was showing unavailable in my area too for that day! :D

Funny thing is Vu company is just 3-4 km from here.

They stock TVs at few depot, it will show out of stock for you if the stock closest to your depot runs out of it. It however generally comes back in stock in a day or two.

They delivered and installed the TV for me in 24 hrs here in KOLKATA.
