Wake on lan

How can i wake my desktop pc using jio fiber over wifi to wake on lan?
1. Have enabled wake-on-lan in bios
2. Have enabled wake-on-lan in windows network adapter settings
The jio fiber router looks like the one below.

Wake On LAN runs on Layer 2, the packet wouldn't be passing through the router itself, instead being broadcasted by the pc to all devices (or specific mac addresses) on network. I doubt it is a problem with the router.

I mean i want to wake a pc that is hibernating in my home network from the internet when i am away.

youll need some kind of a relay (like a server) inside the network to send wol packet from outside.

wol only works on layer 2. outside your network layer 3 (IP) is used.

Can't router relay the IP address (which may change every now and then). Router will always be on. Also i read about ddns like noip.com. can this be done in jio fiber router

No, it'd be a serious security issue if you start broadcasting your PC interface to the internet and that is why one should not do it.

Regardless, you at least need a public IP on your router in order to wake up remotely.

Ok i have a bunch of old iPhones that i could leave at home. I will leave connect them to charger and that way they can be always up to relay the ip. Is there a app that i can install on iPhone 5/SE that can do this?

That is not how the internet works. Why do you need wake-on-lan in the first place?

I could not find the router settings shown in the video.

I need wake on lan to remote desktop to my home pc when i am travelling. I cannot leave the pc on. I want to use the pc then hibernate. Wake on lan is to access the home pc that is hibernating. What i really need is wake-on-wireless lan.

Yea, this is not gonna happen with JioFiber anyway, plus Wake on WLAN is not really a thing.
