Want an Android phone in Rs. 10-12K range

Friend lost his Galaxy S. So, needs something that is better than this model. Not interested in Karbonn or Micromax. HTC, Sony, Samsung would be fine. Comparison is with Galaxy S (first generation) so basically a budget model would do fine.---Another option is a second hand phone in good shape. Location is in Pune. Need a deal asap. So, if anyone from Pune on this forum wants to sell an Android device, he would be interested in listening to your offer.

Customs should go fine..as long as it is under 25K..i can take care of that...But the problem is the Working of CDMA phone in India....
I really don't know how to crack CDMA phones....

These virgin mobile phones have some major problems with their battery and phone restarting lolz thats why they are being sold so cheap on ebay and only virgin mobile can then replace it and in India no one will get any support for them so probably stay off ebay for them.

I think im gonna go with a New Atrix HD....the one with 20K.. As someone suggested..its better to stay away from used phones especially from Internet..

hey first in 10-12 k there are good Galaxy phones from samsung...my recommendation is Samsung Galaxy music ....

Any Sony Xperia Tipo owner on the forum? Is it a better phone than Samsung Galaxy Ace (or similar phones?)

Tippo is anytime better than Galaxy Ace. I have had a hands on and i liked Tippo over Ace specially in terms of touch and camera.

The thing is i want a phone that has good "DISPLAY SPECS"...not that 800*480....I hate that resolution...I want a phone that has good PPI.. LikeMotorola Atrix HDLG Nitro HDHTC Droid DNAIt doesn't matter if it has Android/WP/Symbian!!
