There is some good news at last. I was told by a friend of mine just a week ago that he got WD to pick and drop his faulty external drive in Mumbai at his home only without any transport charges whatsoever. This is really good if WD is to keep intact his after sales service. His external hard drive was under warranty and he did some online registration on WD's site. Then they came to his place and picked the drive, 4 days later they replaced it with a new one. Thanks.
