Don't know why i'm mentioning the wrong brand(that's my telephone brand) so far as BINATONE modem. Actually it is BILLION - BiPAC 5200S RF - ADSL2+ Modem/Router

I am glad that it worked for you, try a server in the US like washington it would be even more (for me I get better speeds from the US server than in Indian ones).

Raj I am glad that I was able to help, that is the problem with Reliance is that in case like these you need to trouble shoot yourself and tell them the options if you leave it to them you would be waiting they just say its okay from there end and blame you with silly issues like you computer might be infected with Malware / Virus etc.At a bit off topic, just 2-3 days ago asked my Airtel broadband line to be upgraded to 4 Mbps after the plan change for 2-3 days I was not get the speed coz they did not change the Line rate to 4 Mbps and only after raising 2 tickets and in the last ticket specifically told them to increase the line rate they fixed it, Airtel tech used to be good but now even they have gone bad or they really do not care anymore do not know but its a pity that the customer is left to take care and troubleshoot himself which is not what everyone can do!BTW was just testing the Airtel line vs Reliance and Reliance wired broadband leaves Airtel in dust in terms of ping and latency :)

Raj,

good that you got it fixed. Happy downloading :)
heh...thanks buddy...u were the turning point in clearing out this myth(after 70 days)

Also your SNR is a bit on the higher side, a low SNR is better.

SNR is signal to noise ratio. obviously a higher SNR means higher signal and lower noise.

Even I'm using same modem + Netgear WGR614. I'm able to open NETGEAR's admin login page but I'm unable to open Billion's admin login page. I tried static IP + 192.168.1.1/192.168.1.154. It just won't open! :|
