Seen ne thing like that :ishock:

0.-9 lol

generally it stays at 6.1 downstream & upstream.

Mine also fell too (but not to this extent) after I was synced to the DS 2mbps & US 1mbps :( It wasn't so bad even when I was on DSL 598 which gets 'upto 2 mbps'.

Mumbai mtnl is taking users for a ride.sometimes fast manytimes slow

the very same day there was a fault in my area (mankhurd Exchange) & net was blocked.Might be the early Warning of the tsunami :P

Rather than complaining so much why not check if your Modem is at fault or is there a loose wire running from the splitter to the jack or to the modem. It's best to sort out problems from the customers end and then if all else fails complain to MTNL.I dont get it, SNR Margin is measure of quality of the service; it defines the ability of the service to work error free during noise bursts.RegardsEdit- try Different Modulations they work in restoring SNR margins to safe levels just googled it :)

negative snr means that mtnl is not giving internet access to you, may be taking internet access from your pc
