The case was adjourned for final hearing on 8th August 2007. Checked up the TDSAT site and the case has been PART-HEARD. Any further news / update about the case? If there is any member from Chennai can he not enquire from the Sun Network there?

that is not related to Sun DTH launch. the case if for sun channels on Tata Sky.. it is again for hearing on 16th august.

Some forum members had talked to the dealers. Will they check with the dealers re. launch date? AS with others, we will know it only on the launch day with full page ads. Tata Sky- sun tv negotiations will continue till sun launch

I think Sun would have to give in coz TATA owns Star Group channels and if Sun DTH really wanted to catch the market they'd have to go for Star Networks else ppl would not buy Sun DTH for Sun Group's channels and TATA/DishTV for other English/Hindi channels. IMO Sun would rather give in to TATA group as Kalaignar TV is all set to give trouble to Sun TV (Sun Group's most viewed channel!).

In a lighter vein, SUN ko currently grahan laga hai. Just because we cannot see it does not mean it is not there.Kalanidhi Maran is a master businessman, like our Mukesh Ambani; he does most of his work silently and behind the scenes.
