What is a good replacement phone for Motorola Moto G1?

Need to suggest someone. I am in favor of Moto X Play as the size is still manageable and expandable memory is a big plus. And it is still a massive upgrade over the first generation Moto G. And the price is not bad for what it offers.

Nexus 5X is my next choice. But double the price tag... Better camera but limited storage.

Sony Xperia Z5 Compact is probably a great option but the price would probably put it somewhere in the range of the 6P I guess.

+1 for Moto X Play. Nexiis are too overpriced to even consider right now. OnePlus One and 2 are also options.

Nexus 6 is available at good prices but the humongous size makes it a tough purchase for a lot of people. It was on my list too.
