@Lolita_Magnum The young man that I mentioned was bit hyperactive on that day (as he lost his mobile on the previous day or a day earlier) and couldn't listen as he was told. We were in a mobile shop changing / buying a mobile. He owed me 1k. When the new mobile was bought, he put the new SIM, enabled Google Pay (that I wasn't aware), asked my phone number and just sent the money to the wrong number (replacing the last two digits). Later explained that he could see the name before sending. He was aware of this feature, but didn't notice it. Happens at times. On my own, I chose the wrong card and couldn't get the offer on a particular day when I was short tempered at that time. Felt ashamed on that day as it was the very first time ever I did so. As the offer was only less than Rs.100, didn't bother about not getting the offer. But, it hurt me what I did (or didn't do). Since then, I tried to be bit more calm during financial transactions.
Edit: In both situations, I think we both wanted to get things done quickly and move on. In the end, we made an error. If the amount was bit larger, things may have gone through as expected. Also, we are usually careful after we made our first mistake too. So, we are both fine now, even for lesser amounts.
