what's the max. no. of channels the new sun direct dth can add????

I wanna know :ashamed:if all the private channels are made free of cost :yahoo:then no doubt they will be brought to the dth platform in no time.If it happens how many channels can we view on sundirect?

stop dreaming!now with malayalam+tamil package,i can view 82 channels and 21FM radio channel(who cares?!)

SUN direct can take a max of 140 channels (with quality picture). Since some of the transponders used by them have less power compared to those used by DD, the channels that SUN can provide per Transponder varies. With signal rate 27000, they will be able to provide 20+ channels. They have two transponders with less SR (22000 and 20000) . the number of channels will be somewhere around 15 for these.
