Any offer will come to an end at some point.
With Airtel AirFiber is already launched, Airtel hasn’t removed the free offer.
Will Jio continue to offer free 5G on eligible handsets, even after they launch AirFiber? If yes, what’s the point of getting AirFiber when 5G can be accessed for free through mobile?
Or will Jio start to throttle speeds on 5G via mobile after AirFiber is launched? In this case, won’t people actually loose interest on 5G (via mobile)?!
Since Jio has plenty of cash to burn (through loans), I wouldn’t be surprised if Jio continues to offer the free trail until Airtel goes bankrupt (that would be a bad news, though).
Jio may continue to offer the free trial until it becomes its own entity (that will take at least a year, as there was no announcement in this regard in the last AGM).
Anyway, please share your thoughts.
