... and there are Nextra pamphlets distributed all over the locality. Now, I know why Airtel started offering V-Fiber here.

I got a message today to upgrade to V-fiber 40 MBPS. Have placed a request. I am in South Delhi.

Got upgraded getting 42 Mbps download and 22 Mbps upload on speedtest. The line rates supported are 135832/27662. So we can get up to 100 Mbps is airtel configures it at their backend and that too on an ADLS line. unbelievable .

Sounds good!!

How stable is the connection and speed?

After using it for few more days, please let us know how much increase in data consumption is observed in your case?

I am on 80Gb/month plan. I am not sure about data usage if I get the upgrade.

Connection is Stable.

Why have your downstream and upstream speeds slowed down since the previous post? Are these values updated automatically? My values for these parameters seem to fluctuate between 25 to 27K downstream and 3 to 4k upstream. Hence I get speeds of around 25Mbps down and 3.5 to 4 Mbps upload. Everytime I switch off the modem, these parameters seem to update.

Yes these are theoretical speeds , the max my line can support. They change after every reboot. But my upload speeds are capped at 768 kbps only.

I see. I am next door to the exchange / switch but it seems like there is a distance of 1100 meters due to the fact that the cable has to come through one apartment complex and then travel to the next one. How far are you from the switch? Overall the connection seems good to me.
