When is Airtel going to offer 40 MBPS in Delhi?

I live in a society so the main box in just 50-100 meters.Connection is stable till I don't do a phone call. But when calling someone the connection breaks. Same used to happen with MTNL. Don't know why.

Why has your download speed become capped from over 27k to just 700kbps? No issues with calls for me thankfully.

It's the upload speed that has been capped download is at 40 Mpbs. Called airtel they said the upload speed would be upto 5 MBPS Max. But they haven't revised it till now.

Sorry, I meant to say that the upload was capped. Yes, I was promised around 5Mbps upload as well. I wish my download could be like yours though!

How much is your download speed? My society was fiber connected earlier this year. And then ADLS connection to my home. earlier it was 16 Mbps. Now 40 but the line can support up to 100 on vdsl. Though it doesn't feel much difference to go to 40 from 16 Mbps unless you are downloading torrents.

My download speed is 25 to 26 Mbps even though the plan speed is 40. It seems like the distance from the box prevents higher speed from being delivered. It does feel faster than the 16Mbps ADSL I had before.

You'll notice browsing difference when upload speed increases. After 4-5mbps download speed it's upload speed that matters.

Upload speed varies. Today I am getting 25 Mbps U/L 40 Mbps D/L . Yesterday it was just 1 Mbps U/L . Would observe for a few days more for speeds to get stable.
