I am planning to buy new device. Features can be less but no compromise in battery life. Which one will be better iPhone 5 or Galaxy s4? I have compared both devices with some sites, iPhone 5 has 8MP camera while S4 has 13MP. Front camera has also same thing. I don't really care but i want a good product, so i will not feel bad after buying it. Never used iOS but used Android before. Friends saying iOS has same features that Android has only we can't customise the home screen which doesn't matter for me. I can wait for iPhone 5S if its really worth.
I have seen the Galaxy S4 thread, where a member got damaged one and samsung not hearing him. So fearing to get that product for myself.

So give your suggestions guys.

There are few pov.
There are people who like to stay within the same ecosystem to get maximum advantage of cloud, sync & content related services. And there are people who keep devices of different ecosystems to play with different sets of features provided by OS.
I suggest to choose the first point of view. If you have a tab or media player of android then stick with Android & go for Nexus 4. Pure android experience without any glitches. If you really want this & that half-assed features of S4 or One then only opt for those. These are the kind of devices which partially go against the Holo UI guidelines of Google. You'd get a great demo out of them. But with the gimmicks follows the bugs. And these OEMs are basically a hardware manufacturers hence the buggy layers are inevitable.
If you like the premium design, seamless integration of both HW/SW & most importantly the rich ecosystem of apps then go for any of the available iPhone models. I believe that only with availability of apps, one can truly utilize the current generation of smartphones. With iOS, you get wide range of App varieties. And that applies for both the phone & tablet. Even with the four year old 3GS you're going to get the harmonious smooth experience of iOS 6. But if you are thinking about getting the iPhone 5 then I would suggest to wait a while as it's already on mid cycle. 5S is scheduled to be released this fall.
It's better to spent the big bucks on latest incrementally upgraded model.

Well i was previously using Galaxy SIII, and don't have problem to move to any new OS. Interested in iOS and agree with you, if iOS 5S will be an improved and better model from Apple then i will wait. I don't want a device with huge screen, 5inch is fine but not more than that. I can use my laptop or desktop for those works, i never used an tablet as i don't need it. iPhone 5 has a 4inch screen which is also fine for me. Saw nexus 4, one friend owns it, yup we can say its one of the best android gadget.

Since you have already been using S3, you would know what to expect from S4 (as you can read the feature additions), so if you are fine with S3 then you should be ok with S4 (which brings me to another question, why change so quickly) . And if you are choosing Nexus 4, I would say wait till it launches , unless you are ok with warranty being a concern.
I have been handling an iPhone 5 for the past 15 days and I can say its very smooth and has a feel good factor, but I am pretty sure it has several limitations when compared to Android and home screen is just one of them. But if you are going to be using only the basic apps and dont care much about look and feel of the OS - then iphone should be good to use, but too pricey for what it gives - And Blackberry Z10 is the same. Also personally will not recommend a high end Windows phone until the platform is a bit more stable.
