I am planning to buy new device. Features can be less but no compromise in battery life. Which one will be better iPhone 5 or Galaxy s4? I have compared both devices with some sites, iPhone 5 has 8MP camera while S4 has 13MP. Front camera has also same thing. I don't really care but i want a good product, so i will not feel bad after buying it. Never used iOS but used Android before. Friends saying iOS has same features that Android has only we can't customise the home screen which doesn't matter for me. I can wait for iPhone 5S if its really worth.
I have seen the Galaxy S4 thread, where a member got damaged one and samsung not hearing him. So fearing to get that product for myself.

So give your suggestions guys.

kkapoorr, thanks for the advise. uninstalled the version and reinstalled along with drivers from samsung website. that worked and now its fine. :)
gadgetcrazy, i transfer songs, videos, docs etc and for firmware upgrades wanted to connect it. i don't think there is any alternative which do the same. :/

you do not need any desktop app to copy data to/from an android phone. software updates are also delivered OTA.
if you want wireless data transfer, check out airdroid.

You do not need any software to do that on Android. The phone should appear like a pen drive in your machine as soon as it is connected via USB cable.

connected the device though usb and it started charging, s4 driver installation failed. :/ even it was not showing the external sd card in my computer. only after proper installation of kies from official site the drivers got installed successfully and all folders shown up.

well even in my previous android devices never such things happened. seriously they need to fix the bugs which anyone can easily find. hope in future software upgrades they work on these. :numbness:

Firmware upgrades yes (that too if OTA updates do not work) but why for everything else?
