I recently bought a Samsung 32" LCD TV and is looking for a DTH with good picture clarity. My family is complaining about lack of clarity of pictures with the current cable TV operator, so thinking about switching to DTH. I have in mind Videocon DTH, which give s almost all channels with south diamond pack for Rs. 275. What about the picture clarity when viewed on LCD TV? Which is the best value (Non HD) DTH service provider?

I guess you could go for Airtels PVRHowever if you can then wait till October, as HD STB's of other companies are likely to come by then and it will be beneficial to have HD PVR if it is not insanely expensive

For pure VFM in terms of number of channels and cost, Dish TV and Videocon would be the way to go.However, hold on for a few more months since operators are launching DVRs, and it would be nice to get yourself one when it launches rather than plunge right now.

I bought a Videocon d2h STB with an LCD TV. Don't ask me which model or anything because I'm not completely sure. All I know is the picture quality is really good. The contrast ratio is a bit high but that can be adjusted. I'm not sure if it works as well on any other LCD besides Videocon's own. Maybe you can go to some dealership and check it out.

Hi can I ask the size of your LCD ? Is it 32 "/26 " ?

Because I also want the D2H as I'm also a LCD user.
