every hdd fails at one time or another , but the most reliable ones atleast in my experience are WD's only 1 has failed on me and that too was my fault i loaded 2 mbr's on different hdds by mistake :speechless:

Hgst. 500gb one and 320gb laptop one. Its been 7 years and both are working touchwood!
