Which LCD TV to buy?

oh i saw both the LCDs at the reliance digital store in gurgaon. Sony colors were too artificial and bright compared to Hitachi. thats what i found.

btw, zee dish tv at my place suck on these bigger sized television sets. star world was so smudgy, it looked like i was watching a pirated print.
You are right. Tata Sky on my friend's 47" Samsung is yuck!!! The problem is that we don't have any High Definition transmission and yet people are buying LCDs dhanadan without realizing that they are paying more for worse quality.

But, I was in the States for a few weeks, and oh wow... HDTV is sweeeeeet!!!! So I am waiting for that golden moment when HD signals come to India, and subsequently the price of HDTVs fall!!

Well its better to go for HD ready rather than full hd set, HD ready will be cheaper and give better quality with indian Dth operators, personally, i prefer plasma to lcd any day as the give the true picture and natural colours and are great for home viewing

I personally felt that Sony LCD's were better than Hitachi . The colours in the Hitachi TV seemed oversaturated . Although the Hitachi Plasma's (>42") seemed excellent
