Which Modem BSNL people gives and which one is best one.

I am interested in 4 Ethernet port modem.

Best is to go for Type 4 modem, comes with 4 ethernet ports , 1 usb port and wifi

It's the best modem in the bsnl line up, which they offer

REF:bsnl.co.in/service/dataone_tariff.htmBSNL gives on rent only TYPE 1 modem. Other types you have to purchase outright.In case your connection is delayed , due to non- availability ofmodem/Modem/routers/Modem/Wifi router in BSNLyou can buy in local market Netgear or D-Link or Linksys models.More expensive will be Buffalo modem/ wifi routers.

according to bsnl , they give rent for all modems.Type 3 modem has only four LAN ports.. it costs 1200rs .. or 60rs per month rent..Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

Only Type I modem is given on rental at present.
The monthly rental for Type I, II, III and IV modems shall be as given below:

Or unofficially BSNL is giving on rent type II,III and IV ?
For some Business plans modem is free!

Thanks to all friends here very helping people.

So I am planning to buy 1800 rs Type 4 Plan.

I think there I will get 4(ethernet ports) + 1 USB + 1 Wifi am I correct.
