Which one is safer?

I just now configured my bb connection for always on.:yahoo: But now i m worried that :( is my id/pass safe in modem's page. i think its now easy for hackers to hack my id/pass.so which one is more safe?1. dialup type access2.always onplz give the logic behind ur option(if any).Any idea.thanks in advance.
 
Yeh....no bill since last two years. But this doesnt mean that i shud use it recklessly(this is one of the reason for posting the thread u referred) becoz whether after 1 yr or 20 bill will come surely.And about hacked id/pass. sorry u have mistaken. thats my friend id/pas. I didnt said that i hacked that id/pass. that was of my friend.

Both the way is almost same for a so called hacker/cracker ..main point is the time of access.. if your using bridged mode for 24 hours ..its same as pppoe ...you can avoid all this by changing your routers default password.
