oh sad. So happy home pack is just anoter trap to get new ''bakras''. And keep there pockets sucking forever. And as ususal they have nothing to offer to existing ones.

dish tv is a one who provides more number of tamil channels when compared to TS&BIGTV so HATS OFF to DISH TV for their good presence of mind:thumb:

if you compare all three dishtv Tsky and bigtv's lowest packs are available for new subscribers only, and among these three if you see total no. of channels, and the categories of channels then dishtv is the best in this offer. As they offer More music channels, more movies channels in hindi and english, more entertainment channels, kids channels and sports channels as well where as Tata Sky and bigtv are not providing these channels. they only have fta channels or 1-2 main line channels.

Tata Sky is alone in the sense, its sat, insat 4A, location is 83.5 deg, whereas those used by others - dish nss 6:95deg, dd+ and sun direct, insat 4B: 93.5, and bigtv measat3: 95 deg. So dd direct signals can be received by all three except ts. TS has to use its own transponders to show dd fta channels, whereas others need not use their transponder capacity.

You make mistake BIG TV users can't able to get DD signals even not 20% signals too :wall:Also for Thread started DishTV 100 Pack is only on new connection users only. So in new connection offer BIG TV is still best with many channels in 2190 Rs for South and 2490 for North.

The new Dish Tv 100 rs Pack doesnt have Vijay TV, one of the quality channels in Tamil, Isnt it a drawback?

i feel it hardly has any good channels, they should let the customer choose whatever 50 odd channels they want to view in that price, rather than dumping FTA channels on us

Do you know if Tata Sky existing subscribers can switch to Rs 99 package or not?

Yes u can... Call the Customer Care and change...
