Which WiFi Router will work with BSNL EVDO Teracom T-U500 Modem??

I am also using taracom t-u500 and getting 50-250kbps download speed in IDM with 3-4 bars but sometimes i have problem with connectivity i am going to buy zte ac2766 modem as i want to use wifi too so please tell me which one i should buy new or old one and which usb router will work with this

You can try TP-Link mr 3020 or tp link mr 3220 or tp link mr 3420 with mts zte ac 2766. Tp link mr 3020 is a portable device. Tp link mr 3220 and tp link mr 3420 both are comparitively same but 3420 have to 5dbm antenna and approximate 500-600rs more cost than 3220. I've prathvi modem. You said MTS is very fast compared to teracom and prathvi? did you ever compare speed in both modem ?

You're getting 1.5 mbps speed only in 1 bar ? Damn, I am getting around 1 mbps speed in full signal.

Which modem you are using now?

Yes i have compared both modems. Mts zte ac 2766 is faster than prithvi modem but not that much fast but its software and signal catching power more than prithvi modem. I have seen difference of 20-30KBps and speed is not constant at all time its fluctuate time to time. Its common in evdo.

Even 20 kBps speed boost is good for me. Let me give it a try then will see. From where you bought MTS modem ? Should I try Used or New on ebay ? Suggest me good option please.

I have purchased it from delhi dealer. I have found him on quickr and contact him. You will contact him 085953 90959 on this no. I have purchased brand new unlocked..it was 500 or 600rs i think......

Hey Man ,
I am using same modem (teracom ) , Its is working with Tenda D303 ADSL2 + 3G datacard wifi router ( Confirm )
You could get the router for 1099 or 1199 ruppe in Amazon ( Just wait for today's deals Then in categories select Computers and accessories then Upcoming ) wait for a week to get the item in deal price or you could directly purchase for 1500 approx . It also has HDD sharing and Print server functionality but for that you need to disconnect Internet .
Note- you should get ZTE AC 2766 , I also have these datacard and it's the best class . I usually download 16 GB a day using EVDO but still these data-card works fine . If you are a very heavy user then you should get sierra 595u / 598u ; Usually after continous download of 30- 35 gb in 2 days ZTE AC 2766 gets heated severely affecting the speeds but sierra 595U which i have , works fine ( once i downloaded 230 gb at a stretch using sierra 595u without any speed drops )
Let me tell you that all the above modem zte ac2766 and sierra 595 u works fine in tenda d303 and even auto disconnection problem of evdo is solved as the router itself reconnects us to network . Range is quite good ( I am fitted these router in terrace and using its wifi signal ad its giving me 240 mbps connectivity still ) .

Hi guys, last month I purchased BSNL EVDO Connection. It's working fine for me. In my house in Meerut, I get about 50-60KBps always everywhere and in Some locations it is in between 100-300KBps(800Kbps-2.4Mbps). Sometimes more than 300KBps too.
I want to know if someone is there who knows or using Teracom T-U500 modem with any wifi Router. If yes then which Router will do.

hame R1 portable router will work.I am facing a small problem,usb cd mode of the modem is enabled by default,ned to switch off the mode in order to detect with any router

I wasted 800 bucks with zte modem. No speed difference. I am getting exact same speed I get on Prathvi modem and Prathvi modem is more efficient than zte. so for me Prathvi is best modem.

Well ! In long run you will definitely see the difference or you must be very near to BTS i.e. Signal strength near to -50 dBm

May be as I get 1.5-2.0 mbps speed in prathvi and get same speed in zte modem but problem with zte is it doesn't connect immediately.. I have to restart modem 3 or 4 times then it gets connected while when I direct connect with laptop then no issue.
