Any opinion on two major internet service providers in our country's leading Internet Fiber Backbone infrastructure? JIO Fiber or Airtel Xstream Fiber?

JIO is best. Airtel is struggling to give me 10-15MB/s on a 300Mbps Plan. I am writing this in reference of my place. JIO fat boxes are full (8 connections per box) here and yet JIO gives full speed. Jio also uses ring topology, which helps at the time of fiber cut. If one side of fiber coming to your dp box is cut, they can make your internet UP in no time through the second fiber. Jio fiber cables running throughout the city are better than Airtel's, atleast in LCO cities.

In purely terms of backbone infrastructure i.e., domestic and international which would be in terms of bandwidth capacity and not the hardware capacity itself then Airtel is the better one here.
Jio is still at a building level, but it is nowhere close as the vast infra of Airtel. Even in many out-sea's countries, Airtel owns its fibers instead of leasing on an L2 capacity.
Down point of Airtel is their hardware which is a serious aging issue and lax SLA assurances, while Jio is very up to the task and went balls deep in first go it still majorly relies on transits and limited interconnect IXs to get their packet through.

They both have their pros and cons; nobody is perfect.
Eg. Jio's interconnectivity to peering.cz is abso garbage. Airtel heavy over-reliance on Hurricane Elec (which used to be a good transit, now not so much) has demolished performance.

300Mbps, Airtel Fiber and 300Mbps Excitel Fiber.

Jio has robust infra in compared to airtel .. airtel lags behind in most of the circle and the worst thing is that airtels cable tv mso model.. get jio or either opt any other cat a isp or ur regional isp which has good plans but don't forget to pair good router n ont..

@nishantt6969 Your problem seems to be with the last mile connectivity not the backbone itself.
Having used both in the same city, I must say Jio was quite good with US/EU pings compared to airtel.
