Why dishtv has not launched Its DVR service does any body knows the reason behind this ?Its quite strange even after the launch of their HD service there is no glimpse of hope for their regular as well as their HD DVR's

Well I don't think Dishtv will soon going to launch their DVR, As i think the Market of DVR is very limited in India. very few people are going to opt for DVR' now a days.
Did you check the sales response for DVRs launched by Tata Sky, Airtel Digital TV & Big TV. I dont have figures, but DVR is getting popular as now many people prefer to record & watch programmes.
The reason why DISH TV didnt launch DVR is because I guess they still cant fix the bugs in DVR STB software, so they may have delayed DVR launch.

Well Its Better if could produce sales response from other DTH Player, with number of DVR they have Sold. Which gives you, me and others also a good idea of How limited is the DVR mARKET.

I said that I dont have sales figure as I dont work for any DTH operator
But looking at trend of DTH operator as most of them are planning or started DVR service.
