Why does Analogue phone have buzzing sound in FTTH?

I have BSNL FTTH connection and I get buzzing sound in the the analog phone (Beetel C51) when on line. I use Netlink hg323rgw ONT.
My neighbour who has a different analogue phone also has the same problem.
To start, the RJ11 port is a misfit in the ONT. The port is too big for the jack.
I use zoiper also, but the audio is better than anything I've heard in my whole life.
I'm not sure what settings to change in terms of audio codecs etc. in ONT settings to make the analogue phone work properly.
My hunch is that there is too much electrical signal.
I don't know maybe a traditional DSL filter although not supposed to this might help. I don't know.
I know you guys don't use the phone at all, but could you help me out.
I didn't mind it initially as I thought nobody was going to use the phone. But now the nearby tower has stopped working regularly. Sometimes I don't have signal for 5-6 days straight. And the only way to receive calls is to forward it to the VoIP connection. Now it rings all the phones combined in a day. So it is bugging everyone a lot.

Neighbour uses same ONT? What about his telephone cable, same as yours?

The fact that Zoiper works flawlessly points to an issue with either the ONT, its port, or the telephone cable.

Yes. He uses the same ONT.
He uses a different telephone model.
BSNL official one.
Another friend nearby got frustrated and changed the whole telephone to wireless one but still he gets that sound in a very small note. It's reduced to a very small extent.
The problem isn't solved.

Sounds like an issue with the particular ONT. Installing a different phone system isn’t going to help. This problem is not BSNL’s or your phone’s fault. It’s the ONT.
Replace the ONT with a different brand or model.

Can't this be repaired by firmware update?
If there is a bug in converting IP signal to analogue signal?
If this isn't a audio codec issue.

Better call/email Netlink to resolve this. more people complains the merrier.
Or you can replace ONT
or you can buy seprate voip adapter from Amazon/fk to register sip settings and connect analogue landline.
or use zoiper app on spare wifi only smart phone treating it as a cordless landline.
