Why FTTH speeds are not growing in India

Agree with @Chip . I have seen sharing of connections in my mom's native place( tier 3 town in UP). They have Jio an Airtel FIber in the colony and many people share the same connection by just extending it with a lan cable. People also pull long lan cables from their home to other places like shops and showrooms. Even the LCO helps them do this.

I really appreciate how RailWire rolls over unused data to the next month.

Honestly, I don’t get why more broadband providers don’t offer this. We pay for that data, so why should it just disappear?

Also, what's worse than having a 'low' cap for a high speed plan, is not being able to see your actual data usage. (Yeah, you Airtel)

I myself share my dual isp connection with my neighbor. i do it to save money on the backup connection

3.3TB is not hard to hit.

With 300Mbps, it's only about around 24 hours of usage at full speed, which is crazy.

Unless you're running an i2p peer or a tor relay, it'll be pretty difficult to hit it in a day.
