Why FTTH speeds are not growing in India

yeah, after that i never crossed 2tb so far

last year when i joined IBF ,the joining reason was to review airtel airfiber 40mbps connection and after using for 3 months ,i started feeling the 1tb cap and 40mbps speed being insufficient for my use case ,as i would have to keep my PC awake for about 1 hour 8 min to upload a 19gb video on youtube

after switching to a LCO with 200mbps speeds ,that upload time reduced to just 13 min
 
@thatayush Good to know. Will query them when I really need to upgrade.

@f0r3he4d Ping test is not a way to test DNS performance. If you want to check latency, that's fine. And it seems your latency is fine, better than mine owing to location. DNS servers are not meant for ping tests.
 
Mine goes around finding subsea cables or something @sloj

@f0r3he4d Like I said, DNS servers are not meant for ping tests. Their main purpose is resolving URLs to IP addresses and cloudflare does it just fine. By performance I meant the how quick it can reply based on latency. Packets are getting dropped probably cause they are ICMP/ping requests which is not a primary job of the DNS server.

@Kyle Crane Cute lab, I think I have seen the pic before on some other thread you posted here related to undersea fiber laying. Mine's is an indie, also have a German/Indian Spitz.
