And it seems some people like to live with their eyes and ears closed to what is happening in the country....
People are suspicious because they saw how this Govt went after NDTV, tried to ban them, had the ED and Income tax go after them.
End result - They got nothing.....
Can you tell us please, why NAMO tv was forcibly thrust down everyone's throats last year??
No one knows who funded this channel, how this channel got its clearances in such a short time....
Any one with elementary knowledge of how Jio works, will know to what extent they will go to safeguard the interests of this govt....
The question can also be framed differently - Why is it that all pro govt channels find a home in Jiov TV??

It is a known fact that Jio is very close to the government and would do everything to ensure that the government is not shown in poor light. Besides, it is the only channel which showed the actual news instead of Rhea and crap all the time. So it was obvious that it would have pulled the plug on Ndtv.
Absolutely! One just have to watch the guests who are invited to NDTV programs - Reputed, educated, intelligent and most importantly soft spoken guests... Compare this list to the guests on other channels....
As someone put it so well - You don't have to shout - to be heard.....

Times now, Mirror now are also not shown in Jio Fiber fta list. These along with NDTV were available a couple of months ago.

By that logic, jio should close all its ott/apps, tell its subscribers to watch their shows on their respective subscription website or YouTube for that matter.
Either you give everything in the bouquet and let customers decide what they want to watch, or you remove everything what you offer. You cannot decide what a customer should and should not watch. He is smart enough for that.

Most channels offered on Jio STB are via OTT apps, so your logic here is either Jio should offer/tie-up with all the OTT apps in India or remove all of them?
