Yesterday my net was gone for some time and afterward when it came back though the first few test results where low speed...but afterward and till now I am getting the proper speed as per the plan(I was too experiencing the low speed problem ). It is related to server issues.
Hope all of yours speed too get stable ASAP :) Cheers

Ya it does goes to 84~94kBps(even 96~100KBps sometime) and I have BW meter which is showing constant speed graph at that speed. See a direct file download from sites like Nvidia or Microsoft to check if you are reaching that speed.
Still there should be confirmation from MTNL that they really done something or is this a temporary thing happened on its own LOL
let see :)

i too am facing the same problem. The first week of upgrade from 512 kbps to 1mbps was great but now speeds fluctuate randomly from 400kbps to 1mbps. Sometimes rebooting the router works and sometimes i just stay on the same speeds. My downloads also get hung in between. I've checked and somtimes the net hangs as the PPoE WAN interface details vanish from my router. The IP routing tables also get reset and i have to then reboot the router. Anyone else facing a similar disconnection problem? i am at saki naka exchange in mumbai.
