Why three DNS servers connected when I've put 1 dns (of pihole) ip in both primary and secondary dns server.

Check your zte router DHCP settings to put only 1 dns entry of your pihole?

If that doesn't work, consider disable DHCP on zte and use pihole as DHCP itself?

Oh I just saw the attached pics, seems ok to me. Just check elsewhere in your ZTE whether any other DNS has been configured.

The first DNS in your tablet is ipv6 probably from the zte

i got airtel today and was provided with this router and yea this appears to be the case sadly.

i've contacted my lco and they've told me they'll put the router in bridge mode remotely so i can have my pfsense router handle everything.

but as vishalrao suggested you should try disabling dhcp server on zte and use pihole for dhcp instead.

Hello , thanks for reply .. and i tried pihole as dhcp .. but it is not working properly. Devices getting ipv6 dns address also which stopping pihole to block ads .. I think , it is because of (ipv6) Lan address management which I can't disable / neither put something wrong..

I have this model too.
It's a waste of time configuring something you don't have any control over. What you can do is
1. Ask them to put it in bridge mode (for some reason they untag all packets, which is another problem, atleast it's not this problem)
2. Let the router advertise itself as DNS servers for both IPv4 and IPv6 and make the router query your pihole as it's upstream.
3. Static IP.
4. Manually configure all clients.

Airtel Engineers say they don't have any better router than this, except they have a dragonpath one but not sure if it's any good.
I have been getting them to put the modem into bridge mode for a very long time, sadly no one at airtel has been helpful in the path,

disabling WAN IPV6, DHCPV6, RA and turning off port control for all physical ports (as an extra measure) seems to have done the trick for me.

I have exactly same problem as @himanshu220 stated, if I set pihole as DHCP then devices are assigned with IPv6 DNS address which leads to not letting pihole block ads. I am not able to get @greengawain solution as I have G-2425G-A router. Has anyone figured out a solution for the same?
