Wifi help for BSNL type 4 modem!

Hi, i have a BSNL bb connection, with a type 4 modem (MT841), which needs a specified wifi card to enable wifi on it! and i believe these modems are no more available, and so the card also is not available!!!??? ... if this is true, what are my best alternatives?Thanx in advance for your help!Regards,M.PS: if anyopne has an extra wifi card, or can get hold of one for me, i would gladly prchase it ... we could use eBay!

Go for a wifi router > Netgear wgr614 Cost about Rs 1500 to Rs 2000/=Or better get WA3002-G4 or DNA A211_-I from Bsnlfor Rs 1600/=+ taxes or on rent Rs 50/= PM( three in one ADSL modem+ 4 lan port + wifi )Futile exercise trying to get Wireless LAN card to be inserted in MT841.May be available In "Junk" in Bsnl stores in small towns!WLAN Card WCBG03H

i think i just called too many people up, and now i have 2 wifi cards for MT841,if anyone neds it, please let me know and ill be happy to part with one,we can use eBay!

Without wireless card BSNL may sell for Rs 1000/= Plus taxes.Or the next model AX MT882. What special facilities in MT841 you are looking for ?

I have been using the MT 841 from last 2 years, now facing intialization issues, where the modem takes a long time to initialize after power failure.I also have a wireless card that works fine with the modem, if i can get another modem i can use the same card with it

Check the power adapter. if it is 230V ac output 12 V ac no need. If it is 12 V DC probably the electrolytic condenser has gone dry.Replacement cost Rs 10/= approx. labour etc.Post Your Summary page screen shot.Edit to show top half page to check snr attn line speed rate power out put.rest not needed now.

i even tried with a different power adaptor still the issue persists, will try to get the summary page screenshot, now the problem has become worse and it takes 10 to 12 hours and at times more than 24 hours to initialize and work
