wifi problems on airtel

friendsi got a airtel broadband connection 2 days back.. it got configured well on my desktop and my dad's laptop.. but it does not work on my laptop..it connects and everything but the browsing and surfing refuses to take place.. i even tried those ping test...it is pinging for 192.168.1.1 but not for any other site... it is showing that "website not found. check name and try again" and stuff for any legitimate website like yahoo and facebook... my modem is beetel 450tc1... can you help me solve this problem?

You should not try a "DIALER" mode. Enable DHCP in router.
In both Desktop and laptop TCP/Ip properties
obtain Ip address automatically.

Make sure you've entered the correct WEP/WPA key in your laptop wifi connection settings.

confirm you are conneccted in Lan mode.

In above pdf manual , instruction is to disable dhcp and use
manual IP's
give reference screenshot where you have problem.

para 2; Make a back up of present settings, if connected in LAn mode to airtel.

or give your IP when both of us are on line to access ONLY your modem/router pages.
