wifi working in phone but desktop internet is not working

i am using bsnl broadband.my modem is teracom type ii.yesterday i did all the things to switch on wifi and to connect my phone.i changed the internet options through 192.168.1.1.after that my phone's wifi is working but my desktop internet is not working.how can i connect both devices?????can anyone help me please?

DHCP on and enabled? if its on, install FING on your phone and check which IP addresses are alloted to the devices.

thanks a lot for ur reply.....dhcp is on and enabled.....i got the IP addresses using FING......what's the next step???
