My friend has a dedicated IP, and they made him get the 100mbps plan for around 1.3k. Now he wants to shift to Superstar plan for 750. Will he lose the Dedicated IP ? We will be doing it via self care portal. Anyone has tried this?

Yes there's no dedicated IP option in plans less than 1000
So you will loose the dedicated ip if you downgrade.
